Sample Part Time Job Cover Letter

Maybe employers are looking at your email cover letter and hitting the DELETE button.

We have seen some pretty horrible email cover letters. Here are some actual examples:

“Hi, I’m interested in this job but I’m quite forgetful.”

Why would someone mention that they are forgetful? Why?

“Hello sir … I am finanacial problam”

Can you see the problem here? Or should we say problam :)

“Please choose me : )”

Desperate are we?

“Hello, I am interested to help your company for 20/h feel free to use me to your satisfaction thanks:) I am 23 here, A level student, waiting for school”

Use to satisfaction? Did he/she really say that?

“i wanted to apply for this position thanks”

Why else would you be writing?

“26 Male Answering phone Start immediately”

OK, chatterbox.

“I am looking for a part time job or something over the weekends to earn some allowance as I am back from overseas studies for 3 months.”

Or something…? No interest in job, only wants allowance.

“HI, im interested in joining your part time crew(1800-2200 timing) at 6th ave, not gonna waste your time but do kindly hit me up at 81XX XXXXX”

Gonna waste your time? You already did by writing this horrible email cover letter.

We have many more horrible cover letters but you get the point.
